Irrfan confirms, “Jennifer said I will have to take off my clothes for an intimate scene with Divya Dutta who is playing my wife in the film. I personally think Indian couples make love with their clothes on and I told this to Jennifer.”
He adds, “She was amazed that how can people have sex with their clothes on. I gave her the example of my previous film The Namesake where I had done a passionate lovemaking scene with Tabu and that too with our clothes on. Jennifer was fascinated, but unconvinced.”
Irrfan then thought of a new plan. He reasoned that he plays an orthodox Brahmin whose mother-in-law has a habit of walking into his bedroom unannounced. “Given the conditions, my character and his wife would hardly be expected to take off their clothes. And that convinced Jennifer,” What a sigh of relief!
“The most relieved was Divya. She was waiting with bated breath to see if I could manage to convince Jennifer. Once everything was sorted out, our lovemaking scene lasted for about an hour.” Talk about the Indian style of love making!
When we asked Divya Dutta about the scene she said “There is nothing much in it at all. I have a kissing scene with Irrfan Khan in the film, that’s it. That too was very professionally done. When the story demands it, I try to play my character to the fullest, including acting out these scenes. It’s as simple as that.”
The snake woman in the film Mallika Sherawat has had no apprehensions doing a dare bare act throughout the film. We wait to hear from her, the woman with the real fizz…hiss!
Salman: Quote Misquote

What he says:“Are Shah Rukh Khan and Vivek Oberoi two people I’d never be able to patch up with? Oh yeah! I doubt it. Maybe if God intervenes and says you are wrong Mr Khan…I doubt that will happen.”
What we feels: He can’t stand them and he isn’t going to for a long long time! Face it and let’s move on like how he did a century ago!
What he says:
“My ideal woman? I would not have dated any one of the girls that I dated if they didn’t fit the bill.”
What we feels: They have been ideal, for a while that is.
What he says:
“Hum toh bewakoof ban gaye, agli baar nahin banenge.”
What we feels: We hope Salman hasn’t lost count of the number of times he must have told this to himself…
What he says:
I wanted to direct Veer but I didn’t think I would be able to handle it so Anil Sharma is handling it.
What we feels: Did you know he wrote the no-brainer Suryavanshi, he isn’t going to make the same mistake twice, right?
What he says:
“When the time is right, I will marry as well.”
What we feels: And here we worry about time running out on us, what is he 22?
What he says:
“The problem with women is that the things they like in a person are the very same things they want to change in that person.”
What we feels: Who wouldn’t want to change that raging anger, moody behaviour, love for the bottle and irritating possessiveness. Is that what girls love most about you Salman?
Akshay does live stunt for ‘Kambakkht…’ promotion
By · Comments
Popular for his daredevil stunts, Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar jumped off a 60-foot high elevated structure in the capital Thursday evening to promote his new film “Kambakkht Ishq” releasing Friday.
Clad in a black body hugging full sleeved T-shirt, jeans, sports shoes and shades, the actor played his comic self with the fans and the media before jumping off on the stage.
He talked about his character Viraj Shergill, a Hollywood stuntman in the film, and the importance of women in the lives of men.
“I’m a typical male chauvinist (in the film)… do you even know who is a male chauvinist? He is one who believes that he is God’s gift to women. But I must tell you that if men are from Mars, women are from heaven,” said the actor while still standing suspended with wires from a crane at DLF place in Saket.
The 41-year-old then probed the media for questions from the height. “Hi media. Won’t you like to ask me anything right now. I’ve done almost 120 films and I haven’t seen such a pc (press conference). Go on, ask what you want. I won’t jump before you do.”
The actor who was last seen in duds “Chandni Chowk To China” and “8×10 Tasveer” also warned his fans not to repeat the stunts shown in films.
“Stunts are amazing but please don’t do them… it’s way too dangerous. Three months ago, my cousin was trying one of my glass breaking stunts from the film and he ended up with a lot of stitches. Even we (actors) have to undergo a lot of rehearsals before doing them,” said the actor before taking the leap.
Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, “Kambakkht Ishq” has been directed by debutant Sabbir Khan.
It also stars Kareena Kapoor and has much publicised cameos by Hollywood stars like Sylvester Stallone, Brandon Routh and Denise Richards.
Joining Akshay after the stunt, Kareena couldn’t stop raving about her co-star of six films including “Kambakkht…”.
“The star of this film is none other than Akshay Kumar. He has done a fabulous job… it is a must watch out for,” she said.
