The oomphalicious Celina Jaitley who has always been in the spotlight for her plunging necklines is all set for an image makeover.
The sexy lady will be seen donning the role of a struggling fashion designer in her upcoming film Money Hai Toh Honey Hai . And here, she will not play a fashionista who is all jazz and bling, but one who is simple.
Speaking about the film Celina said, “Money is one thing that the entire world craves for. The cause of half of the problems is money. No one has enough money. Even a multi- billionaire craves for some more crores. No one is happy with the money they have. Even I am not happy. That is what the film is all about. ‘Money Hai Toh Honey Hai’ is more applicable to men.”
Celina will be seen playing the role of a fashion designer in the film. “The name of my character is Shruti Pandey. I have a very simple look in the film. We have used a lot of khadi and a lot of vegetable prints. She is a struggling designer who does not have enough money to promote her creations or herself. So she wears the same clothes that she designs. But the big boutiques buy her clothes, put their label and sell it.”
So what made Celina say yes to a simple character which is completely different from her glamorous image? “I did not immediately say yes to the film. I was abroad. I just heard a small one line version of the film. I came back after three months and wanted to listen to the script. I heard the story and liked the struggler character. I wanted to play a character like that. I have always been a glamour girl. I thought that there was a very human aspect to the girl. Whether the movie worked or not, it would be nice to play a character like that so that people judge your human aspect.”
Talking about her future projects Celina said, “I have three projects with Mukta Arts, Paying Guests, Hello Darling, Chai Garam and a few untitled films as well. I also have a foreign film called The Quest of Sheherzade . I am also doing a special appearance in C Kkompany .”
